In Ford 4R100 and E4OD units, the OE plastic front lube/drainback valve assembly can melt at elevated fluid temperature. Once the plastic ball seat or ball seat stop melts it can restrict the front lube oil feed circuit, resulting in overdrive planetary failure. Sonnax front lube/drainback valve kit 36425-01K will not melt, preventing planetary failure. Ball seat and stop are manufactured from high-quality aluminum to withstand elevated fluid temperatures and prevent melting Ensures integrity of the front lube oil feed circuit
