Mortorq Spiral Fastener Driver; Due to high torque requirements and difficulty in removal of the transmission bellhousing bolts without stripping an internal torx, the bolt heads were changed to a Mortorq design. This requires use of a special 7/16" shank drive bit that fits the propeller-shaped recessed design of the Mortorq bolts. The Mortorq bolt is the only one available from GM for service part replacements. T-1550A is used with a standard 6-point socket or bit holder (not included).
